In addition to the external temperature is too high, what other factors will cause the motor of metal shredder to overheat?

1. The gap between the stator and the rotor is too small, so that the stator and rotor are frictional and heat.

2. Abnormal vibration or noise of the motor can easily cause the motor to heat up.

3. If the bearing is not working properly, it will cause the motor to heat up. Whether the bearing operation is normal or not can be judged by the temperature. The bearing end can be viewed by hand or a thermometer to determine if the temperature is within the normal range.

4. The power supply voltage is too high and the motor will overheat. According to the national standard, the motor power supply voltage should not change by more than ±5% of the rated value, and the motor output power should be kept at the rated value.

5. Winding short circuit, turn-to-turn short circuit, phase-to-phase short circuit and winding open circuit. This situation should be stopped immediately after this situation occurs.

6. The material leaks into the motor and the insulation of the motor drops, which increases the temperature of the motor. The machine should be stopped immediately to remove foreign objects.

7. The motor is out of phase. In order to prevent the motor from running out of phase, in addition to accurately selecting and installing low-voltage electrical appliances and protection devices, the relevant standards should be strictly enforced, electrical lines should be laid, and the various accessories of the shredder should be regularly viewed and protected.
